After going through holiday comparison, you have finally come up with your holiday destination. Next thing you must do is to book your flight. Although not a lot of people have experienced any problems in booking; it is still best to know what to do in case you are in an unexpected situation.
To make sure that you are protected as a consumer, make sure that you book an ATOL protected flights. For those who are not familiar with ATOL, it stands for Air Tour Operator’s License. This will give you the chance to be entitled for a full refund in case of any issues.
Another important to remember when booking a flight is to use your credit card. In case you trip is not covered by ATOL, by using your credit card you are somehow protected by the Consumer Credit Act 1974. If something went wrong you are still protected by this act, unlike if you pay with cash, bank transfer or debit cards.
Of course, travel insurance will keep you covered if something goes wrong with your vacation. It is better to be safe than sorry, most especially if you are traveling overseas. It is very important that the package you have booked is covered by travel insurance.
Thank you for the tip. You sure know a lot about traveling.
