Philippine Festivities

 

Philippines is known for its colorful traditions and festivities. In fact, every month a festivity takes place in different parts of the country. Like for the month of August, festivities such as Kadyawan sa Dabaw will be held this 20th of the month.

The event is a form of thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest. It showcases a colorful parade of costumes and also float decorated by orchids will grace the streets of Davao. Their costumes are so unique and colorful which may remind you of some of the infant halloween costumes that are available in the market. You will see people dressed as fairies while dancing on the street.
