Quiapo – the Philippines’ melting pot at the heart of its capital, Manila presents more than large array of shopping centers but as well as cultural and historical landmarks. Located near the outskirts of Pasig River, Quiapo is the haven for both Roman Catholics and Muslims. Here you can find the famous Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene or (Quiapo Church as called by its townsfolks) along Quezon Blvd. Surrounding it are numerous novelty shops and street vendors selling different items both food and non-food items including the best diet pills both locally produced or imported ones. On the other side of the boulevard, one could find the Golden Mosque, wherein caters the spiritual needs of our Muslim brothers.
I’ve been to Quiapo only once. 🙂 Talagang must-see!
Quiapo Church, it is said to be miraculous, that many prayers come true, when you continuously pray for it there…
oh… that expression of yours make me wanna see it more
