srsy07It was already 20 years ago when provinces from Central Luzon were devastated by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo. Now, these provinces have managed to recover from such disaster and Mt. Pinatubo is now considered as one of the most frequented tourists’ spots in the Philippines.
If you enjoy trekking, a trip to the peak of Mt. Pinatubo is definitely a good thing to do. Once you reached the top and marvel at its grandeur, you can also take a swim in the crater lake at the top. Riding a 4×4 jeep going to rocky river, rough roads and Mt. Pinatubo “lahar” is a place where you would not need shindaiwa , or else you will eat more dust.
Then you may also try the Pinatubo Spa Town to try having your body covered by volcanic ashes. From a destructive volcano, Mt Pinatubo has turned into a place where people can enjoy and appreciate the beauty of nature.
I remember when this happened. The ashfall reached Manila and our furniture was covered with ashes. Who would have thought that it’ll turn out this beautiful.

Is it possible to erupt that intense again? oh.. I’m not yet a baby when it erupted. Just by looking at the picture, it makes me wanna take my vacation there ^^

Oo nga eh very unpredictable ang volcanoes, still PhilVocs is the one in charge of knowing these things 🙂 but this is really a very nice place to hang out, and have a vacation 🙂

The first thing that came into my mind when I read this was the Pinatubo movie. It was such a tragedy but good thing its people have already moved on. 🙂
So there was that movie , how great , I never heard about the movie, but really wanna watch ^^
