Laid back Explorations at Costa Blanca

The Spanish coastline of Costa Blanca is one of the busiest tourist hubs that you can find.  The stretch of sandy white beaches along its coastline and the healthy climate makes it an ideal holiday destination for locals and foreigners. It has 26 towns that you can explore while on vacation.  Each town has its own charm and attraction that caters to tourists of all ages and varied interest.

The towns of Alicante and Benidorm are known for their modern facilities, active night life and buzz of activities throughout the day.  There are also quaint towns and villages that offer a glimpse of the rich culture and history of the island like Altea, Javea, and Calpe.  A holiday in these Costa Blanca towns is best spent leisurely; take time in immersing yourself in the flavors of the town.

Excursion activities can include a stroll along the cobbled medieval streets of Altea to admire the town’s architecture including the Nuestra Senora del Consuelo Church that dates back to the 20th century.  Take a trip to the Javea port and old town with its uniquely Spanish look.  The town of Calpe features old town murals and monuments, nature reserve and landmarks like Pennon de Ilfach.  Exploring art, history and culture of Costs Blanca will not be complete without sampling local dishes like paellas, tapas and sea food dishes.  Javea boasts of good tapas and great bargains too.

A traveler taking a break from the hustle and bustle of city life would do well with a little peace and quiet in these simple and laid back towns.
