Travel First Aid Kit

As much as you try to avoid going to the place were most people wear Grey’s anatomy uniforms (which means the hospital); there are emergency medical situations that would need immediate medical attention. Accidents or sickness may occur even on well-planned travel.

If you wish to travel abroad, it is important to bring with you first aid kit. But what should you take along in your travel first aid kit? It all depends on the place that you are heading, how long will you be staying in the place and who are with you during the travel.

Normally, it is safe to bring what you have inside your medicine cabinet; that means both medical supplies and medicines. Also consider how long it will take you to travel to the medical care institutions; and get immediate help from medical people wearing Barco scrubs. In this way you will have a pretty good idea on what to pack in your travel first aid kit. If you are traveling in a group, you may also want to anticipate their medical needs too.

Travel First Aid Kit should have the basic medical supplies and medicines like:

  • Analgesics
  • Antidiarrheal
  • antinauseant / motion sickness
  • antihistamine
  • topical antibiotic
  • antiseptic
  • insect repellent
  • bandaids
  • sunscreen
  • thermometer
  • Swiss Army knife

However, if there are other medical conditions that you need to consider; it is a must to talk with your doctor regarding your travel plan. Your doctor will advise you on what things to bring in your travel first aid kit.
