The majestic waterfalls located in Bislig, Surigao del Sur is named Tinuy-an Falls. It is also known as the Niagara falls of the Philippines and is considered as the major tourists attraction in the booming city of Surigao del Sur. The beautiful waterfalls measure an estimate of 180 feet in height which is roughly around 55 meters high. The width is 311 feet or 95 meters wide. It is a four-tiered curtain waterfall, its beauty is so enticing and the location would make you feel closer to nature. The falls is surrounded by centuries old trees which are gigantic in size and wild ferns are found all over the place.
If you wish a little fun and adventure, you may take a ride on the bamboo raft on the edge of the falls and have a soothing massage while being mesmerized by the wonderful masterpiece of nature. If you are not into hiking and wish to go to the upper part of the falls, there is no need to worry. Metal ladders with handles are placed in the area for easy hiking experience. Wonderful rainbow appears daily between 9am to 11am.

Great scenery , many other falls are man-made but when you look at it,it seems not. One of the many falls I love is our own, Pagsanjan falls 🙂
