One of the popular icehotel is Sweden Icehotel. It is built along the river of Jakkasjarvi which is about 200 km north of the Arctic Circle. To build this unique icehotel it takes around 10,000 tons of river ice and about 30,000 tons of white snow. The amenities of this hotel includes ice chapel, ice bar and ice sauna too. Sleeping bags were provided for guests plus warm winter clothing too.
Another icehotel can be found in Quebec Canada, the Quebec Ice Hotel which is located about 10 minutes from downtown of Quebec City. This ice hotel is made from 15,000 tons of snow and about 500 tons of ice. There are thousands of families who visit the place. The kids get to enjoy fun ice slides and also colored themes hotel rooms. It is definitely a perfect place for family travel this winter. You just need to verify with the hotel reservation whether the amenities include wifi internet connection so you can enjoy your Android tablet too.
